Beer Style: Sour white beer with sea buckthorn, raspberry, vanilla, and lactose, as it's our North Coast version of a creamsicle.
Key Characteristics: The large quantity of sea buckthorn added and the fairly intense acidity. The fruits (sea buckthorn and raspberry) all come from the North Coast.
Style Description: White beer that has undergone acidification with fruits added in the fermenter. Lactose and vanilla are also added to give it the sweet and vanilla side of a creamsicle.
VISUAL: Orange-pink and opaque.
NOSE: Generous aroma of sea buckthorn and raspberry, slight vanilla.
PALATE: Sharp acidity, intense fruitiness but with the roundness of lactose and vanilla on the finish.
BODY: Medium-low, due in part to the acidity that cuts through the sugar.
BUBBLES: Low to maintain the body.
