Escale à Pilsen
Czech Pilsner (Svetlý Ležák)
Escale à Pilsen is a Czech Pilsner brewed using a selected Czech Saaz (Hop and Stuff) by the Master Brewer.
In the heart of Bohemia, in the city of Plzen, a beer was born in 1842 that would change the world.
In the cool cellars of a brewery, Bavarian brewer Josef Groll created the first clear blonde lager: the Pilsner.
But Plzen is not only a city of beer.
Its history is also mineral.
The region is rich in resources: coal, clays, sandstone, and minerals shaped its industrial development.
The galleries and mines of Bohemia fueled the furnaces, glassworks, and breweries.
The coal extracted the heat; the stone sculpted the cellars; the earth gave the water.
