Westy Hogan

A nod to old-school geeks who used to cross borders to go get those good old foil tops from Lawson's.

Hops: CTZ, Simcoe, and Idaho 7.

Bottle-conditioned.

Where does the name come from?

Westy Hogan became famous at the Aylmer Race Track in 1920 when he was secretly disguised and entered into a race under the name of another horse, Little Boy.

Much faster, Westy won the race hands down, allowing bettors to pocket large sums of money before the fraud was discovered.

This story has since become one of the most legendary tales of horse racing in Aylmer.

On the nose, citrus and candied exotic fruits.

On the palate, a round body with rich flavors of orange, mango, and apricot, which then give way to a beautiful hop resin.

The finish is smooth, perfectly balanced by a clean and sharp bitterness.
