The Day We Hit The Coast, a 7% West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with the legendary Sawdust City Brewing—a brewery we have long admired for, among other things, the quality of their traditional IPAs.
It showcases Peachy Keen (Euphorics™), Motueka, and Nectaron hops.
The aroma is rich with very ripe stone fruits. The body of the beer is lean and well-carbonated.
On the palate, you initially find a blend of lime and very ripe peaches, followed by notes of passion fruit and red berries that round out the sip.
The finish is dry, with a lingering bitterness and a distinct hop resin presence.
