Robe Noire
Chocolate Stout
At the beginning of the 17th century, Catholic priests arrived in New France hoping to evangelize the Indigenous peoples.
These missionaries were mainly Recollects and Jesuits. With their attire and serious demeanor, the Indigenous peoples nicknamed them the “Black Robes.”
These educated, brave, and bold men lived among the First Nations villages, sharing their cabins. Some often traveled alone into remote regions.
In honor of this courage, our master brewers imagined this valiant black stout with chocolate notes, a brew sure to convert you to this excellent elixir.
Like a master tailor, the brewer combined roasted malts with South American pure cacao to create this liquid masterpiece for you.
