Robe Noire
Chocolate Stout.
In the early 17th century, Catholic priests came to New France hoping to evangelize the natives.
These missionaries were mainly Recollets and Jesuits. With their dress and serious air, the Natives nicknamed them the "black robes".
These educated, brave and daring men lived in the First Nations villages and slept among them in their cabins.
Some often travel alone to remote areas.
It is in recognition of this courage that our master brewer has created this valiant black beer with chocolate accents that will surely convert you to this excellent elixir.
