The year 2021 was characterized by a mild winter and spring followed by a hot and sunny summer.
The result was an abundant harvest of high quality.
Ideal conditions allowed us to delay the harvest date to promote excellent grape ripening. Made from a blend of Frontenac, Marquette, and Petite Perle, this wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, and black pepper announce remarkable smoothness on the palate and a beautiful balance between the substance, a slight sweetness, and the acidity of the wine.
Food and wine pairing: Intensely flavorful, it will pair delightfully with grilled meats or braised beef.
