Ojibway
English Bitter
The Ojibwe, OjibouƩ, Anishinaabe-Ojibwe or Chippewa are Indigenous peoples of North America, belonging to the Anishinaabe group.
In their traditional lands of the eastern forests, the Ojibwe played a very important role in the early days of the fur trade.
Despite assimilation efforts carried out by the federal government and provincial governments, the Ojibwe have preserved their culture and language (Anishinaabemowin) as well as continuing their activism.
In many ways, they represent the lasting presence of First Nations in Canada. Ojibway is an English-inspired red bitter-style beer. This activist beer is easy to drink, dry and refreshing.
Sweet and comforting aromas of maple syrup lead to a finish of caramelized grains and biscuit.
