The fruit of a meeting between two passionate breweries, this collaborative blend with our friends from Microbrasserie Jackalhop (Plessisville) symbolizes the strength of craftsmanship and the audacity of free spirits.
With the character of a Wild IPA, La Croisée des Fers unites five distinct beers, each forged by its terroir: 18% two-year barrel-aged Saison, 18% two-year aged spontaneous Saison with crabapples, and 18% eight-month barrel-aged IPA (Jackalhop), to which are added 18% one-year barrel-aged Saison and 28% fresh Tête de Pioche (Prospecteur), which awakens the whole with a hoppy and vibrant breath.
The blend reveals a balance between the wild tension of the yeasts, the woody complexity of the barrels, and the fruity freshness of the hops.
The result: a beer with a unique profile, simultaneously rustic, acidic, and aromatic.
