Saison de la Gadoue
Saison de la Gadoue is an amber Saison from Témiscabitibi.
To highlight regional products, Prospecteur has incorporated honey from Miellerie de la Grande Ourse (Saint-Marc-de-Figuery), hops grown by the master brewer (Vassan), as well as grain from Témiscamingue sourced from the Mondou and Robert farm (Lorrainville) and malted by Caux Laflamme Maltery.
Additionally, two Valdorien yeasts isolated in collaboration with Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue were incorporated into the brew. These include an indigenous Saccharomyces cerevisiae harvested from Abitibian crabapples and a Brettanomyces anomalus isolated from Ékorce Kombucha.
