A classic German-style pilsener is pale yellow in color with a crisp, malty sweetness that can be perceived in aroma/flavor and finishes with a bitter snap of spicy, floral noble hops.

German-styled pilseners tend to be lighter in body, drier, and a touch more bitter than their Czech counterparts, but both styles are easy to drink and refreshing.
