Gin barrel-aged German pilsner from Distillerie du St. Laurent.
In June, we received freshly emptied barrels of gin from Distillerie di St-Laurent in Rimouski.
There, we decided to mature a German-inspired pilsner for 2 months.
The result is beyond our expectations!
The aromatic exchange in just 60 days is incredible!
The distillery's Gin Vieux is infused with St. Lawrence seaweed.
This creates complex herbaceous and floral notes that are transferred to the beer, giving it added flavor and depth.
The cereal notes and signature lager yeast blend perfectly with the barrel aromas.
We're really delighted with the result!
