Verger Hemmingford - Le Cidre Noir
This unique cider is made from Quebec apples hand-picked in the fall of 2021 and pressed at our Hemmingford cider mill.
Through a new roasting process for a cider, we obtain a 100% natural drink, bittersweet and light, which is drunk like an iced tea.
To the eye, it looks like a bright amber caramel with a nice foam.
The nose offers aromas of caramel taffy, malt and baked apple.
On the palate, one discovers aromas of cold-brewed coffee with bitterness and acidity reminiscent of Italian herbal liqueur (Quinoto).
Produced vegan, LE CIDRE Noir is naturally gluten-free.
It contains only 16 g/L of residual sugar, making it one of the driest ready-to-drink ciders on the Quebec market.
