Smoked Maibock
This strong lager showcases house smoked malt made with maple wood on our Cantine Solail smoker, bringing an indescribable depth to this amber lager.
Brewery notes: On the nose, the smoke is immediately present, accompanied by fresh bread crust aromas and a light honey-like sweetness. To achieve this smoked malt profile, we cold smoked pilsner malt using maple and apple wood chips.
On the palate, the beer is round and generously malty. Notes of toasted bread, biscuit, and caramel come through first, then slowly give way to the smoked malt character.
The finish is fairly dry, with a moderate bitterness that pleasantly balances the malt sweetness.
