Originally brewed for laborers, especially the “Porters,” those who carried goods through the streets of London.
In our version of the London Porter, part of the malt used is a heritage floor-malted grain sourced directly from England — a traditional malting method that imparts a unique depth of character.
The result is a beer that’s slightly more roasted, hoppier, and drier than our classic L’Ancêtre Porter, which you may already know.
