Cold-hopped with Galena and Rakau hops.
For our fifth blend of spelt beer - the Grisette - we chose Galena hops from Houblon des Jarrets Noirs in St-Bernard.
If the Grisette Cascade was mostly floral and spicy, here the Galena hops give this new brew a herbal and woody character.
This time, we taste physalis, commonly known as ground cherry, with delicate and sweet aromas, yet simultaneously tart.
Although Grisette remains our most hopped beer, the bitterness remains subtle, making this beer light, enjoyable, and thirst-quenching.
