Nano Cinco x Brasserie du Bas-Canada
Oh yes, a very first collaboration with Brasserie du Bas-Canada to celebrate our 17,520 hours of existence. Since its opening, Bas-Canada has clearly energized the beer market in Quebec by offering innovative hoppy beers, including double IPAs that left a mark on us a few years ago.
We are pleased to have collaborated with them to craft a double New England IPA with New Zealand hops Rakau and Motueka from our respective selections, as well as the new Nelson Sauvin Bliss Process.
This hop is derived from an experimental method developed in 2023-2024 by Freestyle Hops, aimed at maximizing the tropical intensity of the Nelson Sauvin variety while preserving its fresh citrus and white wine notes.
This approach combines a late harvest to release more tropical thiols (sweet aromas) while maintaining the liveliness of the terpenes, resulting in a balanced profile blending mango, grapefruit, and lychee. A juicy beer full of aromas.
