Svetlé Výcepni - Czech-style pale lager

Inspired by a wander through Prague and central bohemia to the town of Únetice-Horomerice, which houses one of our collectively favourite Czech breweries Únetický pivovar.

With sublime lagers, amazing food, a beautiful courtyard its brewing history goes back to 1710. This brewery inspired us to brew a 10.7 plato lager. The colour of the can and the emblem is a homage to the beer and brewery itself. 

This is a blend of a few different basemalts for complexity, Czech grown Kazbek hops and our house czech lager strain. 

The gang from Mellön made their way to our small slice of the Quebec countryside to brew this beer in April. We are eternally grateful and honoured that they were into brewing with us for our first anniversary. 

The name ‘Palarran’ is the high elvish word for ‘far-wanderer’, a nod to our new friends and something else that we both love.

Tasting notes: herbally, fresh cut hay, delicious.
