Floor malted Moravian Pilsner malt and a ton of Saaz hops. This is the brewery team’s favorite beer.
Escaping former Czechoslovakia during World War II and finding a new home in Montreal, my grandmother and the Kohoutek family brought with them their love for Czech lagers.
Inspired by them, here is a “svetlý ležák” (svèt-lee lè-zak), which roughly translates to “pale lager” in Czech.
It was made to be enjoyed by the mug, surrounded by friends and family.
