New hop alert! We're thrilled to be among the select few breweries chosen by Yakima Chief to test one of their brand-new products: YCH803 Citra!
An experimental extract that's even more concentrated than the Hyperboost format.
We used this hop in a very specific way... Added right from the first dry hop at the very beginning of fermentation, it gives the yeast the opportunity to biotransform its aromatic compounds, releasing maximum fruity flavors while reducing bitterness and vegetal notes.
As a bonus, we also added Nelson Sauvin, Krush, and Citra in a double dry hop to further amplify the aromatic profile!
