Combustion Spontanée

The Combustion Spontanée is a blended beer inspired by Belgian Gueuzeries.

Aged in oak wine barrels for 15 months, the spontaneously fermented beers in this blend are made with Témiscamingue malt and aged hops.

Deep within the cellar of Le Prospecteur lies a wide array of airborne microorganisms.

It is with great vitality that our oak barrel cellar provided the ferments for this beer, imparting a fruity and slightly sour acidity, a rustic taste, as well as aromas of earth, leather, hay, and barnyard.

In short, a wild, rustic, and funky beer that, rest assured, will not cause you to spontaneously combust!
