We have a special limited edition for this years Harvest Ale that honours Andy and Ruth Flood the original owners of the property that our brewery is situated on.
Traces remain of Mr. and Mrs. Flood’s years of planting on the property of which we have harvested and utilized for this special ale.
Wild grapes, honey from Black Locust and Maple Syrup all from here with a big hop overload punch from estate Tradition hops that we added by planting here.
All these ingredients were harvested within 300 feet of the brewery!
The barley malt in this wildly unique ale came from our friends at Mill Ridge Farms only 42 kilometres from us.
Talk about lowering the carbon footprint, Talk about Local!
Others claim they are carbon neutral, but we went one step beyond with this one.
