Charbonneau

Brewed in honor of Msgr. Charbonneau, the rebel archbishop of Montreal.

He took the side of the miners during the strike of 1949, going against Duplessis, who ruled as king and master over Quebec during the Great Darkness.

Declaring it the Church's duty to intervene, he organized a provincial collection for the strikers and became a key player in resolving the conflict.

This Belgian blonde, hopped with Sabro, perfectly combines traditional methods with modern hops.

Notes of honeydew melon enhance this beer, which surely would have pleased the Monsignor as much as the miners.
