There are few craft breweries we respect as much as the wonderful team at Robin - Bière Naturelle.
That's why we sought their collaboration last winter to fulfill a dream: brewing a 100% Quebec beer flavored with wild ginger rhizomes, a plant protected in our beautiful region.
Since it is illegal to harvest more than 3 wild ginger plants per person, over 12 years ago we began propagating this aromatic plant on our own land, intending to eventually use it in our beers!
Canadian wild ginger, is a native plant used for centuries by First Nations, either in cooking or for its medicinal properties.
'Asaret' is a barrel-aged and sour beer, dry and festive, distinguished by its delicate aromas of pepper, vanilla, green apple, and candied ginger.
Its delicate spicy profile pairs perfectly with moderate acidity and a dry finish.
